Wine Republic opens new store in Windsor

Melbourne’s leading independent liquor retailer, Wine Republic, is continuing its rapid expansion with a new store opening in Windsor this month, adding to its other locations in Fitzroy and Northcote.

Reflecting the continuing revitalization of the Windsor end of Chapel Street, WineRepublic brings a cutting-edge range of over 2,000 boutique wine, beer and spirits to the area. Co-owner, Fiona Lim said the new store has something for everyone. “We have our renowned, well priced cleanskin ranges starting at $10 through to a good imported international range”.

Along with its massive range, Wine Republic offers highly personalised service from long term staff members who take the time to understand every customer’s needs and find products they'll love. “Staff receive regular training by industry experts and taste through the products so they know what they’re recommending”, says Lim.

Wine Republic customers have the option of joining a free membership program which gives a five percent credit on all purchases into a store account that can be redeemed at any time for products across the store network.  “We currently have thousands of members across Melbourne exploring amazing new products and having the benefit of getting free or discounted purchases as they shop with us”, says Lim.

Wine Republic Windsor will feature regular wine tastings, meet-the-maker sessions, winepairing classes and customer events. “The events are a great opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals and have a chance to learn more about our range or a specific product. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and educate themselves about what they’re drinking”, says Lim.

Wine Republic Windsor is located at 118 Chapel Street, Windsor and open Sunday to Tuesday 11am - 9pm, Wednesday to Thursday 11am -10 pm and Friday to Saturday 10am-11 pm.
