Noosa restaurant operator collapses owing $141k
The company behind a Noosa restaurant group owed more than $140,000 to creditors when it entered voluntary liquidation this year.
The Pandey Brothers company, which operated Bombetta, Noosa Dunes Supper Club and Noosa Pizza & Pasta, went into voluntary liquidation on July 22.
The latest documents lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) put total debts at about $141,421. The largest creditor is Noosa Heads business Utopia Rentals, which is owed $80,000. The Australian Taxation Office (ATO), is listed as a separate creditor and is owed an estimated $41,421, while Lightspeed is owed $18,500.
ASIC records show Prakash Pandey, of Noosa Heads, was the company's director and secretary.
Noosa Dunes Supper Club, the group's most recent trading name, had promoted itself as "the perfect late-night experience" with "delicious food, classic cocktails, and relaxed vibes" as well as "free pool and live sports".
