Kick start your New Year!

What better way to start the new year than making plans for what you want your business to achieve in 2019?  So, what are some of the things you can do to kick start the new year?

1. Get up to speed with Social Media
   Social Media isn’t going away so if you don’t take the time to start capitalising on this global online freight train of a marketing tool for your business, you’ll be left behind. Take the time to fully understand how your business is (or isn’t) performing on Social Media and create a strategy to reflect this. 
   
   
   
2. Outsource what you can
   Outsourcing has many benefits so don’t discount it.  IT services, marketing, HR, payroll, are just some areas of your business that could benefit from outsourcing.  Outsourcing can be great during seasonal or promotional periods where a temporary team can step in, or where a business expands quickly.
   
   
   
3. Get your team on board
   Online task management boards such as Asana or Monday can help increase productivity, team engagement, streamline processes.  You and your team can easily create, manage and share online boards, lists and calendars, even timelines.
   
   
   
4. Meet without leaving the office
   While we all like a coffee catch-up with a colleague or potential client, there are times when a video call will do the trick and prove way more productive!
   
   Video conferencing offers the convenience of never having to leave your office, allowing teams, colleagues and clients to log in from their desktop or even their phone. Just BYO coffee!
   
   
   
5. Set aside that time to work ‘on’ your business
   We’ve heard it before but it’s important to take time out to work ‘on’ your business.  Sometimes easier said than done so block out time in your calendar and stick to it!
