Stephen Mercer has more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. In 1997 Stephen, with his wife Ute, opened Mercer's Restaurant in Eltham, where they continue to run the region's most prestigious dining room. Mercer's restaurant has, eleven times, been awarded a Chef's Hat in The Age Good Food Guid and was announced the winner of the best Contemporary Australian Restaurant in the 2016 Victorian Awards for Excellence.
