In December last year, Marriott Melbourne raised a total of $5528.96 in donations to purchase 40 Christmas gifts for children suffering with cerebral palsy.

Marriott Melbourne General Manager, George Varughese said that he was very thankful to all of the hotel’s customers who supported the initiative and was proud of the hotel being able to give back to the community.

“The Cerebral Palsy Education Centre is such a worthy organisation and by hosting this gift giving morning tea we are able to show the children and their families that Marriott Melbourne cares and values them,” he said.

“I encourage all community members and other local businesses to get behind this organisation and help them support families who are affected by cerebral palsy,” he said.

Marriott Melbourne is located at the corner of Exhibition and Lonsdale Streets in Melbourne, Victoria. The hotel intends to assist with other community initiatives in the future and welcomes any partnership proposals.
