More than 100 people fall ill after suspected salmonella outbreak at popular Queensland Chinese restaurant
It’s believed more than 150 people ate at the restaurant, with people falling ill from Saturday night.
The restaurant was shut down on Monday after multiple complaints were filed by sick customers.
Health authorities have warned those who may have eaten at the restaurant to remain in isolation for at least 24 hours after symptoms have subsided and 48 hours for those who work in close contact with food, with fears the illness could spread.
Logan City Council shut down the venue "to ensure there is no further risk until the outcome of the investigation is known," a council spokesman said.
