Wine Odyssey Australia, whose entire premise is to support and develop small, often unrecognised, brands of privately owned Australian wineries, has this week been named as having the Best Metropolitan Wine List Featuring NSW Wines as well as taking home the trophy for the Best Informal Dining Restaurant Wine List – Comprehensive in the New South Wales Wine List Awards.
For the first time Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) partnered with the NSW Wine Industry Association to deliver the New South Wales Wine List Awards, which were created in 1996.
The NSW Wine List awards are aimed at rewarding licensed restaurants that excel in wine service and wine list development with a focus on showcasing local wines, and supporting the local NSW wine and food industries through wine list development.
“We are thrilled at having won not one, but two awards, that help raise the perception of high quality among NSW wines, and which recognises the premium quality of our wine list and the hard work and commitment that goes into keeping them fresh and interesting for our customers."
