AIBA and GABS call on brewers

The Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) has advised that entries open for the 2014 awards on Monday, January 6, while the Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular (GABS) has called on brewers for its 2014 event.

Judging for the 2014 AIBA will take place in Melbourne, from Monday, 28 April to Friday, 2 May, with winners of the 2014 AIBA to be announced on Thursday, 22 May 2014 as part of Good Beer Week.

Entries to the 2014 AIBA close on Friday, 14 February 2014.  

Meanwhile, the Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular (GABS) has confirmed its return to the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne next May 23-25, now as part of the Good Beer Week program.

The festival organisers are now putting the call out to Australian breweries to get involved by brewing a festival beer and/or booking their own exhibitor stand.
