Final countdown to ALIA
Tickets are rapidly selling out for the 20th Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA), which takes place under the Big Top at Sydney’s Luna Park in just two weeks.
Hosted by Australian Hotelier, National Liquor News, bars&clubs and TheShout, the theme for ALIA 2013 is Sport.
Carlton Dry pre-drinks commence at 6pm, including a special sporting demonstration by Red Bull. The awards conclude at 11pm with ferries to the Patron after party at Cargo Bar in Darling Harbour.
The event will be hosted once again by ALIA crowd favourite, MC Larry Emdur.
This year will also see the introduction of a new major award – On-Premise Liquor Supplier of the Year, which will specifically seek to recognise those liquor suppliers who have excelled within the on-premise sector.
