Accommodation Association strengthens relationship

The Accommodation Association of Australia is set to strengthen their relationship with American Express as an Alliance partner and key supporter of the national industry body for the tourist accommodation sector.

This partnership has allowed American Express to continue to facilitate strong relationships and provide high quality service to members of the Association and the Accommodation Industry.

The increased level of commitment will benefit accommodation providers and their customers with American Express focusing on solutions for both large scale and small businesses.

The Chief Executive Office of the Accommodation Association of Australia, Richard Munro, supports the commitment of the partnership and said "This continues a long and firm relationship between American Express and the Accommodation Association as well as our industry.

'We are very appreciative of the support given by American Express through their partnership with the Association and I am looking forward to seeing the initiatives we are developing together come to life."

Geoff Begg, Vice President & General Manager, Merchant Services in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) said "American Express works closely with the accommodation industry in a number of ways, on both corporate and consumer fronts.

"We want to do all we can to support the industry and to help provide world-class service to our mutual customers. That is why we are proud to be solidifying our relationship with the Accommodation Association of Australia.

"There are challenges in the current economy, and the Association gives accommodation providers of all sizes a strong voice with governments and other decision makers. We are grateful for the partnership with the Association and we look forward to continuing to build our relationship over the long-term."
