Star Entertainment is seeking to attract former Crown Resorts employees who are being made redundant.

Crown Resorts is set to cut up 1000 jobs, as it struggles to overcome the effect of gaming restrictions and a sharp drop in tourism.

The move opens the door for Star to attract strong talent, despite continuing regulatory scrutiny. The entertainment giant has roles to fill across restaurants and bars, hotels, gaming operations and corporate teams.

Positions are open in Brisbane, Sydney and the Gold Coast, with Star offering relocation packages for certain roles, complementary meals, discounted parking and career development at The Star Academy.

There are also positions available at the executive level including chief executive, chief financial officer, chief legal officer and chief of staff.

Members of its executive suite left the organisation as the Bell II inquiry looked further into whether Star is suitable to hold a casino licence in Sydney.

At the Bell inquiry last week, Star's new chair, Anne Ward, stated that the company's current condition does not qualify it to hold a license.

She indicated that Star might need further supervision after the term of special manager Nicholas Weeks comes to an end in September.
