Wenty Leagues goes Greek as Euca Gelato sets sights on Parramatta

Wentworthville Leagues Club is adding another layer to its sweeping $70 million redevelopment, announcing the arrival of Alati, a new Greek restaurant set to become a flagship dining destination within the venue.

The club has entered into a partnership with the Dedes Waterfront Group — the hospitality group behind established Sydney venues including The Deckhouse at Woolwich, Flying Fish at The Star, and Watergrill at Abbotsford — to deliver a concept that marries traditional Greek cuisine with contemporary sensibilities.

Wenty Leagues president Ian McCann described the opening as a meaningful addition to the club's evolving food and beverage portfolio. "The introduction of Alati will re-establish an a la carte-style dining experience at Wenty Leagues, complementing the club's broader food offerings, which includes The Plaza and the recently opened Arbor cafe," he said.

Dedes Waterfront Group founder Con Dedes, whose organisation brings four decades of hospitality experience to the venture, said the move into Sydney's west represented an exciting new chapter. "Alati will focus on quality produce, contemporary Greek flavours and warm hospitality," he told The Daily Telegraph. "Our goal is to create a restaurant that feels elevated yet welcoming, and one that becomes a destination for both members and the wider Sydney market."

The restaurant — its name drawn from the Greek word for salt — will repurpose and transform the club's existing dining space, offering both classic favourites and modern dishes said to "resonate strongly with Sydney diners."
An opening date is yet to be confirmed.
