Foster Clark's Snak Pack: product recall

The NSW Food Authority advises:

Cerebos (Australia) Ltd has recalled batches of Foster Clark’s dairy desserts from Coles, Woolworths, Safeway, Bi-Lo, Franklins and IGA supermarkets, Campbell’s Cash and Carry in NSW and interstate and Pick N Pay in Queensland.

The products are being recalled due to the possible presence of small plastic pieces that may cause potential choking hazard if consumed, especially to young children.

The recalled products are:

  • Foster Clark’s Snak Pack - Chocolate in 2 x 140g plastic tubs, with ‘best before’ dates 21 AUG 2013, 22 AUG 2013, 23 AUG 2013 and 06 SEP 2013
  • Foster Clark’s Snak Pack - Chocolate in 4 x 140g plastic tubs, with ‘best before’ dates 23 AUG 2013, 24 AUG 2013, 06 SEP 2013 and 07 SEP 2013
  • Foster Clark’s Snak Pack - Banana in 4 x 140g plastic tubs, with ‘best before’ dates 27 AUG 2013 and 28 AUG 2013
  • Foster Clark’s Snak Pack - Strawberry 2 x 140g plastic tubs, with ‘best before’ date 03 SEP 2013
  • Foster Clark’s Custard Cups – Vanilla 4 x 140g plastic tubs, with ‘best before’ dates 29 AUG 2013 and 30 AUG 2013

The recall applies only to the above products.

Consumers should not consume the products. Consumers can return the products to the place of purchase for a refund.
