KFC and Luude team up to put the zing back into nightclubbing
Post nightclub hunger usually entails a trip to the late-night kebab truck. However, KFC now wants a bite of the popcorn chicken and is launching a one-time nightclub in Sydney.
Soon Sydneysiders will be able to have a side of fries or Zinger with their overpriced beers and cocktails.
Known as Fried Side Club, the concept will be launched at a secret location as ARIA winner Luude spins some tracks.
Luude has teamed up with KFC to launch his own brand of Zinger Sliders.
And in good news for club goers, the sliders will be available at the KFC nightclub for free.
"KFC has been a staple on the diet forever - so when they reached out to partner on a project, I was 100 per cent keen,” Luude said.
"We're setting up a secret club that is a replica KFC store, you've even got to go through the fridge to get in - it's sounding wicked.
"They've also let me create a Secret Menu item too, so you'll be able to ask for Luude Zinger Sliders all over Australia. A childhood dream collab."
The sliders are already available in KFC stores across the country and come in pairs: half a Zinger Fillet and lettuce with Chilli Relish and half a Zinger Fillet and lettuce with Supercharged Sauce.
They are a limited edition item and come off the menu at the end of October.
The nightclub will open on October 21, with Luude to be joined by Kinder and Foura. Fans will be given the address 48 hours before opening, with tickets now on sale.
Tami Cunningham, CMO at KFC Australia, said: “We are committed to supporting Australia’s music industry and nightlife and providing Aussies with the ultimate KFC experience.
"It’s so exciting to be partnering with such incredible local Aussie talent on what is sure to be a fantastic night out and we cannot wait to open the doors to our very first nightclub in Australia.
"We love to throw a gig, so we’re encouraging fans to grab their tickets, unleash their free spirits and embrace the fried side of life.”
