Brisbane set for new steak, lobster and whiskey experience

Two new venues will open on Brisbane’s Eagle St Pier … just in time for Christmas.

The riverfront dining destination will be home to new restaurants COPPA and Cha Cha Char Steak and Lobster in December.

Cha Cha Char Steak and Lobster will serve up a quality menu and dining experience with the concept executed by restaurateur Michael Tassis and his business partner Ciao Rossetto.

“We’re looking forward to what is to come with Cha Cha Char Steak and Lobster and are particularly excited for what this new concept will bring, and we’re sure Brisbane will love it,” said Tassis.

Tassis and Rossetto have guaranteed a stunning alfresco dining experience featuring institutional favourites such as quality cut meats, and the opportunity to indulge in Australia’s finest and freshest lobster.

The lobster will be sourced from Tasmania and Western Australia.

When the dining experience is done, guests are invited to the lounge area where the Whisky and Wine Bar awaits and they can taste in excess of 150 whiskeys and exceptional wines.

COPPA will offer casual indoor and alfresco dining, with a food menu that combines the coastal Italian cuisine with an abundance of Australian ingredients.

COPPA restaurateur, Tom Sanceau is partner in The Happy Fat Group, running a range of award-winning venues, from small bars, to restaurants and pubs.

“Myself and The Happy Fat Group could not be more excited to relocate COPPA to such an iconic dining destination and offer the COPPA experience with river views at Eagle Street Pier,” said Sanceau.
