New cooking ambassadors announced for Electrolux
Following the introduction of a new Inspiration Range equipped with exciting innovations in cooking and laundry, Electrolux’s new brand campaign, ‘Discover the Electrolux Life’ seeks to help people achieve everyday luxury at home.
Incorporating best in class developments in steam cooking, induction and food preservation, the campaign inspires people to ‘make gourmet everyday’, by embracing the right tools to create great-tasting food and memorable experiences at home.
With almost 100 years’ experience designing appliances for professional restaurants and homes, a new collective of inspired chefs and cooking experts- the Electrolux Professionals - has also been announced as cooking ambassadors.
Selected from around the country, the Electrolux Professionals include James Viles (Biota Dining, NSW), Richard Ousby (Stokehouse Group, QLD and VIC), Stewart Wesson (Whistle & Flute, SA), Scott Bridger (Bib & Tucker and May Street Larder, WA), food writer, author and cook, Kate Gibbs and Aussie-Italian chef, Massimo Mele (NSW and TAS), whose new restaurant opens in Martin Place next year.
The announcement of the Electrolux Professionals further reinforces Electrolux’s connection with professional chefs, with former associations including Tetsuya Wakuda and Peter Gilmore, effectively creating the model for chef ambassadors in Australia. Many of the Professionals already have a longstanding relationship with Electrolux through their involvement with the Electrolux Appetite for Excellence program, and Taste Festivals in Australia, which Electroluxis the major sponsor.
“We’re excited to be partnering with some of Australia’s finest culinary talent and to see their unique interpretations of what ‘gourmet everyday’ means for them at home,” said Mike Putt, Managing Director of Electrolux Home Products, ANZ.
“’Discover the Electrolux Life’ is about helping people discover what luxury means to them and how they can attain this at home. The concept of luxury is personal and different for everyone – it could be anything from cooking mac and cheese with three cheeses, to buying fresh berries from the markets on the weekend and enjoying them throughout the week, or being able to give your clothes a professional dry cleaning-like experience at home.”
With the new Inspiration Range, home owners can now benefit from an array of clever features. Electrolux’s range of multifunction ovens featuring the FullTaste Steam System are designed to lock in flavours and vital nutrients, with two performance levels (standard and advanced) to deliver more versatile results to suit your individual needs.
Whilst the addition of FreshZone™ to Electrolux’s new refrigeration range extends the life of your ingredients with intelligent temperature control to keep food fresher and better tasting for longer.
As well as cooking, Electrolux’s new laundry collection includes Vapour Refresh which quickly freshens and gently revives your garments without washing. This innovative program removes wrinkles, odours and reduces the need for ironing to give you better care for your clothes to keep them bright and stylish.
