AGB expands Garlic Slices Range to include Ciabatta
Tip Top Foodservice has expanded its well-known Australian Garlic Bread Co. range to include Ciabatta Garlic Slices following the success of its Baguette Garlic Slices last year.
The new Australian Garlic Bread Co. (AGB) Ciabatta Garlic Slices offer venues a quick, easy and cost-effective way to provide rustic-style garlic bread alongside meals like pasta and risotto.
The Ciabatta Garlic Slices are made with artisan style ciabatta loaves and offer a premium option particularly good for restaurants who want to offer diners a high-quality garlic bread.
“While our AGB Baguette Garlic Slices are great for caterers, cafes and hotels looking for convenience, the new AGB Ciabatta Garlic Slices are much more sophisticated than your classic garlic bread and are well suited to up-market pasta dishes,” explained Darren O’Brien, National Account Manager, Tip Top Foodservice.
Designed to be taken straight from the freezer to the oven, the 70g slices are not stuck together in the packaging so there is less likely to be damage and waste unlike other slices on the market.
The slices also use margarine instead of butter, so the product is low allergen and vegan friendly which is essential in today’s dining scene.
“We’re excited to work with venues to see how they can incorporate it in to their menus,” said O’Brien.
With six months frozen shelf life, the slices come in small cartons of 80 slices (separated into four trays for easy baking) that can be stored easily in the freezer and baked on demand for restaurant quality just-baked garlic bread.
