Totally mobile stage systems with custom designs right outside the box were ordered by two creative customers last year.
Rural Health Tasmania are what they say – totally rural and therefore, require a presentation stage system that will travel to far flung corners of country Tasmania.
The QUATTRO Stage System itself needed to be of a workable size – 6x6 metres, plus accessorised with a Disabled Access Ramp, 2 sets of 40cm Stage Steps, Safety Rails and a Valance Curtain System.
A lot of stage system but how to ensure it all transported safely and efficiently?
The Select Concepts design team have designed a compact, accessible and easily towed Stage Transport Trailer which has proven its capabilities already just with the cross Tasman sailing and journey to Smithton in time for the inaugural presentation day.
All QUATTRO stage componentry is compactly housed in the tray and tool box sections – a simple effective solution which will work with the needs of Rural Health Tasmania for years to come.
High Spirits Harmony is a talented a cappella harmony choir comprising of only women based in SA. Again, the specifications for a performance stage required a new design approach to our successful tiered choir stand, the MELBA Fold & Roll Choir Riser.
The original MELBA has 4 performance levels, a large performance space not required for the choir members – smaller is best. They also needed a tiered system which although portable has to curve plus have the option of ordering a straight format at a later date.
We designed and manufactured a bespoke 3 tiered curved MELBA Fold & Roll Choir Riser system. The MELBA is in 2 standalone mobile sections; with safety rails across the rear of each section; and the smaller compact units are easily transported and assembled by the all women group who perform in a range of venues across Adelaide.
