Woman indecently assaulted while she slept in Katherine motel
A woman in Katherine in the Northern Territory has been sexually assaulted while she slept in her motel room.

Police said a man entered the room, believed to be at the Katherine River Lodge Motel, and assaulted the 29-year-old woman early on Sunday.
Senior Constable Mitch Stephens said the man entered the room about 3:00am (ACST).
"It is alleged the male indecently assaulted a 29-year-old woman as she slept. The woman woke and the offender fled the scene," Senior Constable Stephens said.
"Detectives from the Northern Investigation Section are investigating and enquiries are continuing."
The woman was being interviewed by police, with no description of the offender immediately available.
