And that means no coffee!

Corinne Smith and Amara Jarrat, who are also behind the Sydney Tea Festival. which is on again this year at Carriageworks in Eveleigh, are looking for a cook who loves the leaf.

“The launch of our tea bar is all in line with what we want to do with tea,” says Smith. “For us it’s just another interesting ingredient and I think the right person would have to fit.

“It will be a fairly simple menu but something that is heavily influenced by tea.”

The Tea Bar is set to open in Redfern in July and there eill be no coffee will served at all.

The warehouse space has been designed by Matt Woods, who was also behind Bloodwood and Devon cafe and Devon on Danks and Mandy Edge.
