A Taste of Harmony

A Taste of Harmony is Australia’s biggest (and most delicious) workplace celebration of our cultural diversity. Simply register online to share a world of food and culture at work.

What? A Taste of Harmony is an annual event inviting all Australians to bring a dish to work and share stories with colleagues to celebrate our cultural diversity.
When? 16—22 March 2015
How? Register your workplace for free
Why? Australia is one of the most culturally diverse counties in the world, with one in two Australians born overseas. Participating in A Taste of Harmony is a great way to share stories with your colleagues and learn more about cultural diversity in your workplace. There is no fundraising involved.

A Taste of Harmony is a free & easy way to celebrate the many cultures that exist in your workplace. From 16—22 March 2015, thousands of Australian workers will stop what they’re doing to share a meal and stories of their cultural backgrounds with colleagues.

Last year we saw over 350,000 Australians from 4,100 workplaces involved. The settings were as diverse as the dishes including post offices, call centres, factories and even airport hangars.

Some of Australia’s most loved celebrity chefs have come on board to celebrate our diversity through A Taste of Harmony too, including Miguel Maestre (The Living Room, Network Ten), Ed Halmagyi (Better Homes and Gardens, 7 Network), Marion Grasby (MasterChef, Network Ten), Guy Grossi (Grossi Florentino), and Herb Faust (Herb Faust Food).

To get involved simply register online, set a date and ask colleagues to bring a dish representing their cultural background, their favourite meal or even food from a culture they have never tried before. Everyone who registers will receive an exclusive e-book with delicious recipes from our celebrity chefs!
