A NEW Brisbane hotel offers time-poor business travellers the chance to manage their entire stay, from check-in to check-out, using their phone.

The 304-room Next Hotel on the bustling Queen Street Mall is a new prototype for Singapore-based SilverNeedle Hospitality who this month rebranded the city’s old Chifley at Lennons following a multi-million-dollar, top-to-toe makeover.

At the new Next, a guest’s smartphone can replace their room keycard, Wi-Fi is limitless, the mini bar includes four free items daily and the 24-hour Club Lounge is open to all guests.

After downloading the hotel app your phone will not only open your guestroom door, it can be used to check-in, control the air conditioner, lights and entertainment systems and order room service.
