AAA aligns with Visa

The Accommodation Association of Australia (AAA) is pleased to announce a business alliance with global payments technology company, Visa, to promote smarter business practices and bring better value to its members. AAA has partnered with Visa in support of Visa’s Better Value for Business campaign, an initiative aimed at helping Australian businesses find potential cost savings through a review of their credit card acceptance practices.

The Association will promote Visa as a preferred payment solution to their national members, while Visa will provide tools and information on payment innovation and relevant products and services for Australia’s accommodation sector.

AAA CEO, Richard Munro said: “We’re proud to announce this new partnership and strongly support the benefits Visa can provide our members.

“Managing overheads and attracting more customers is undoubtedly one of the key challenges for any accommodation provider and so looking for smart, simple ways to help our members reduce costs is a high priority. We’re confident this partnership with Visa will provide tangible value to our members.”

Chris Broad, Head of Acceptance, Visa added: “This alliance will provide a great opportunity to work more closely with the accommodation sector, especially given the high percentage of transactions made using credit cards. Tourism and travel remains a vital part of Australia’s economy and providing convenient ways for visitors to pay, as well as for tourism providers to accept payments, is important to the continuing growth of the sector.”
