Hindley Street venues fight new lock-out regulations

A legal challenge will be heard in the Supreme Court on Friday against regulations to prevent people entering licensed venues in Adelaide after 3:00am.

The challenge is being mounted by two Hindley Street operators against a code-of-conduct which is to take effect from next Tuesday .

Patrons can remain in a bar after 3:00am but cannot leave to go to another licensed venue after that hour.

One of those involved with the challenge is businessman Tony Tropeano, who has declined to comment, but is an often-vocal opponent of the planned lock-out rules.
