New pay rates available ahead of next week's minimum wage increase

From next week, the National Minimum Wage and minimum award wages will increase. The increase applies from the first full pay period starting on or after 1 July 2026.

We’re updating our other website information and resources with the new pay rates. These will be available from 1 July 2026.

An updated version of the Fair Work Information Statement will also be available from 1 July 2026.

 

Other upcoming workplace changes

There are also other upcoming workplace changes, including:
  • changes to Children’s Services Award pay rates
  • changes to Pharmacy Award pay rates
  • new payday super rules 
  • increase to government funded parental leave pay
  • increase to unpaid flexible parental leave
  • increase to income thresholds and the compensation cap.
