Historic Qld pub goes pink for breast cancer

Queensland's oldest running pub, the Nindigully Hotel west of Toowoomba, is turning pink this weekend.

The owners of the hotel in the state's southern inland are painting it pink to raise money for the Jane McGrath Foundation and breast cancer research.

Pub spokesman Adam Kilpatrick says it will stay pink for the next two months.

"My girlfriend's actually ... got me a pair of what were bib and brace white overalls," he said.

"I'll be the bloke wearing tie-dyed pink overalls on the day and I still won't be as bright as the pub."
