Davis Yu brings hospitality muscle to group with new operations manager

After successfully opening three restaurants in two years, serving countless numbers of customers and with even more exciting venues in the pipeline, Melbourne’s Davis Yu has brought more hospitality muscle into his group.

Roger Fowler, who started plying his trade as a chef in the kitchen, will take on operations of the Maison Davis Group restaurants, including Touché Hombre and the recently opened Claremont Tonic.

After 30 years in some of the country’s busiest restaurants and most famous hospitality industry companies, including the Stokehouse and the Prince Hospitality Group, Roger says the new role is a satisfying challenge.

“I’m looking forward to working with the Maison Davis Group, for such a young company the reputation they have already developed really excites me. It’s great to be a part of something that is not only changing what we eat, but also the way we experience eating it,” said Fowler.

Roger commences October 1st 2012.
