Crown Sydney announces Emergency Services Charity Stair Climb

Crown Sydney is proud to announce its inaugural Emergency Services Charity Stair Climb. On 28 March 2026, this landmark community event will unite emergency services representatives, open to the NSW Police, Fire and Rescue NSW, Rural Fire Service, SES and Crown Sydney team members in a spirited challenge to determine who is the fittest of them all.

Inspired by the long-running Firefighter Stair Climb at Crown Metropol Melbourne, which has raised over $6 million for charity over the past twelve years, the Sydney event will raise vital funds and awareness for mental health charities including the Black Dog Institute and Fortem Australia.

In a show of physical endurance and spirit, participants will ascend 29 floors of Crown Sydney’s iconic 275m tower, the city’s tallest building, and firefighters can wear their weighted operational equipment.

000 Foundation Director Trent Egan said, "Launching an Emergency Services Stair Climb with Crown Sydney is something we are extremely proud of. We know firsthand how powerful an event like this is for the entire emergency services community and it’s exciting to finally bring this climb to New South Wales for the first time.”

“This event offers a unique way to celebrate our emergency services personnel who serve our communities every day, while raising vital funds and awareness for mental health.”

Crown Sydney CEO Stanford Le added, "Crown Sydney is proud to host the inaugural Emergency Services Charity Stair Climb to support and celebrate our frontline heroes and give back to the community."

The ultimate vertical challenge will culminate in a rooftop celebration at Crown’s tallest rooftop terrace, Bar CIRQ, offering participants a moment of triumph and respite after conquering the full 29-floor climb.

The Crown Sydney Emergency Services Stair Climb is proudly presented by Crown Resorts and the Crown Resorts Foundation. Recruitment and training is now underway ahead of the March 2026 event.
