Investigation into MasterChef death ongoing
The tragic death of former MasterChef judge Jock Zonfrillo is still being investigated by th Victorian coroner.
The 46-year-old was found unresponsive in Melbourne’s Zagame’s House hotel at 2am on April 30, 2023.
Zonfrillo was found by police after wife Lauren became worried about her husband when he missed a series of calls.
Police found no drug paraphernalia and his death was not deemed suspicious.
“The death of Jock Zonfrillo remains under investigation by the coroner,” a spokesperson for the Coroner’s Court of Victoria told Daily Mail Australia.
“This is an active investigation.”
Lauren Zonfrillo is still active on Jock’s Instagram page, recently sharing pics of him and fellow judge Andy Allen.
“One year ago. Our last dinner together before we flew to Rome. We had the saké pairing. Obviously,” she captioned the post. “I always loved these two, but never more than now.“(These are the worst photos ever taken, but I treasure them.) Loz.”
