Sky News presenter Erin Molan groped in a Sydney pub

A man has been banned from a Mosman gastro pub after he groped the bottom of Sky News presenter Erin Molan.

The Buena kicked the man out of the pub after the incident, which was called out by  Molan’s partner Todd Selby during the AFL Grand Final between Collingwood and Brisbane.

The man has been banned for six months.

“It was really inappropriate,” one onlooker told The Daily Telegraph.

“This stuff happens way too often. I’m glad the staff and some of the regulars stepped in so quickly and kicked him out.”

The Buena general manager Mitch Wood noted his pub’s zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment.

“We were very concerned upon learning of the incident, and acted swiftly as soon as we became aware of what happened, barring the individual from the premises for six months,” he said.

“This is obviously a very unusual incident for us here at the Buena, and the welfare of our customers and staff is always of the utmost importance. We have stringent policies in place with regards to sexual harassment, and these are aimed to ensure all patrons and staff feel safe and welcome in all our venues.”

Buena is on the lower north shore and is owned by the Fallon brothers. It is split into three separate sections: the Buena Bar and Bistro Mosman downstairs. Upstairs is the Vista Bar.
