Chef to be deported after ‘brazen’ sex acts on Sydney trains

A chef jailed for “brazen” sex acts is set to be deported after has served his time.

Colombian national Felipe Castillo-Parra was arrested in June last year for a series of sex acts he performed on himself in front of young women aged 20 to 22 years travelling on trains across Sydney.

Castillo-Parra worked at a restaurant on the Sydney northern beaches suburb of Manly at the time of the offences which date back to late 2018.

The sex pest was caught after police released CCTV images of him at a train station. He was charged with three counts of commit act of indecency with a person 16 years and over, and one count of wilful exposure in a public place.

In sentencing, Magistrate Megan Greenwood said Castillo-Parra showed no remorse for his actions but was only concerned with his own well-being.

“You seemed more concerned with your loss of liberty than the effect on the victims,” she said.

“Your own psychologist notes that you are an above average risk of further sex offending.”

He was sentenced to a maximum 12 months, three months each for the acts of indecency against three women, and imposed a two year bond for the wilful exposure.

On completion of his minimum sentence in March, Castillo-Parra will be deported back to Colombia.
