Brisbane hotel with views over Moreton Bay hits the market

Mon Komo Hotel in Redcliffe, north of Brisbane, has gone on the market for the first time since it opened in 2011.

Owned by Sydney based Kyko Group, the hotel boasts views over Moreton Bay and includes four bars, gaming room, beer garden and a conference and function centre. There are also 33 strata titled short stay accommodation apartments.

Kyko Group were selling in order to focus more on office developments and other investment opportunities, according to Savills who are managing the sale.

“Hotels in southeast Queensland are held quite tightly, particularly waterfront properties, they hardly ever come up,” said Savills director Leon Alaban.

Expressions of interest close at 3pm on June 28.
