Reymonds to open new ‘dining precinct’ in Cremorne

The Reymond family will open an all-day diner in Melbourne’s Cremorne this in August.

Marking the third venue for renowned hospitality trio Nathalie, Edouard and Antoine Reymond, who are also behind Bistro Gitan and L’Hotel Gitan, the new venue will be split into two distinct venues – a relaxed bar concept Fred’s Bar and refined restaurant offering Frederic.

"It will be a different concept, incorporating what we have learnt over the years and developing something new and fresh for this thriving suburb,” said Antoine.

“Bringing an all-day European dining experience, we're excited to work with so many vibrant businesses and a number of new residential developments in the area.”

The spaces will serve separate menus - Frederic will be a contemporary steakhouse, with a short menu of rotating seasonal specials, while Fred’s Bar will serve pastries and coffee in the morning, modest share plates during the day, and apertifs, simple pastas, minute steaks and house-cured seafood at night.

Located on the ground floor of a four-storey office building, behind a heritage-listed brick façade, the two spaces will be designed by SJB Interiors, who also fitted out L’Hotel Gitan.
