Barangaroo’s ‘bird nest ‘ building for sale
Lendlease is selling the distinctive ‘bird nest’ building in Barangaroo South for around $35 million.
Currently leased to long-term tenant Solotel, owned by Matt Moran and Bruce Solomon, the free-standing building is a three-storey circular design with a timber facade curving in three dimensions, extensive green canopy and a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces.
Lendlease has appointed James Parry, CBRE director, to market 35 Barangaroo Avenue internationally.
John Burton, managing director, urban regeneration at Lendlease, said the sale of 35 Barangaroo Avenue was consistent with "our strategy to leverage Lendlease’s integrated property capabilities to deliver high-quality urban regeneration projects".
