$7.50 'deconstructed mocha' cops an online serve
A trendy Sydney café is asking customers to make their own mocha and charging them $7.50 for the privilege.
The Grounds of the City is serving its deconstructed mocha as three separate ingredients, a shot of espresso, hot chocolate and frothed hot milk, with the customer required to mix it themselves to suit their tastes.
The beverage is of course highly Instagrammable, with many customers posting images under the hashtag #deconstructedmocha.
The comments have been predictably amusing. “Where's the Allen key?” asked one commentator. Another person said they hoped they didn't charge extra for having to make the coffee themselves.
