New hotels for Brisbane

Brisbane is getting two new hotels.

The first is the Adina Apartment Hotel opening in July.

Located on George Street in the centre of Brisbane, just minutes walk to Queen Street Mall and Queen Wharf, this latest hotel is located in a grand heritage-listed building.

It features 220 studios and apartments designed with contemporary decor, a beautiful restaurant and bar, gymnasium and indoor swimming pool.

The spacious apartments in the hotel will come with their own kitchen, laundry and living room.

There are also studios with kitchenettes, all with full hotel services.

These include 24-hour reception and a fitness centre with excellent gym equipment and a pool. The restaurant and bar with a public entrance will be located on George St.

The Adina is filled with history. Housed inside the former Queensland Government Savings Bank located at 171 George Street, it will be located in a heritage building that originally opened in 1922. TKD Architects have has sensitively repurposed the site.

The buzzing Southbank precinct is 15 minutes away.

Then in September, there’s the opening of the Calile Hotel in Fortitude Valley.

The Calile will have 175 guest rooms.

That includes nine suites and two premier suites. In addition, each room will have an individual balcony, Bluetooth sound bar, motorised blackout blinds, 55” flat screen television and complimentary WiFi.

The hotel will offer numerous restaurant, bar and event space options.

Those include a lobby bar, a poolside restaurant, and a grand ballroom that holds up to 500 people.

 “This will be a sophisticated and fun resort experience in an urban location – where people will meet for drinks with friends, to shop or for a fun night out, taking advantage of that glorious sub-tropical outdoor lifestyle that Brisbane has to offer,” TFE Hotels CEO Rachel Argaman told Spice News.

The Calile will be bookable from mid April.
