A new hotel for Sydney

Veriu Broadway is the latest hotel for Sydney.

The 64-room serviced apartment hotel is located on a former warehouse space which has gone through an $18 million conversion.

The result: self-contained studios, each over 40 square metres. That’s in addition to the one and two bedroom loft style apartments.

The hotel is located on Mountain Street, Ultimo, near the International Convention Centre.

Staff have been trained as local area guides and it also provides 24-hour reception with on-site food and beverage.

The food and beverage offerings are in line with the precinct’s contemporary café and bar scene.

The hotel also offers complimentary “explorer” bicycles to get around the hip precinct. All future Veriu hotels will be offering this service.

There are also other complimentary offerings: a welcome drink, complementary WiFi and in-room tunes via Smart TV technology.

As part of the opening plans, the hotel is offering an opening special saving 25 per cent on two night stays. Or hotel guests can get a 15 per cent on one night stays with rates starting from $170 per night.

These opening specials are  valid for booking until 15 August and valid for travel until 28 September 2017.

The hotel chain has expansion plans.

The Veriu hotel chain is rebranding properties in Camperdown (28 rooms) and Randwick (35 rooms).

As part of the expansion plans, it is putting the hotels through complete refurbishment to bring them up to Veriu Hotel standard.

Veriu has a pipeline of developments over the next two years.

These will include Veriu Pyrmont (36 rooms) opening 2018, Veriu Central (110 rooms), opening 2018 and Veriu Green Square (142 rooms) opening early 2019.

Also, it is planning further developments.

The Veriu plan is to create a bespoke collection of hotels and suites.

Each hotel will have its own distinct personality and style.
