SA food industry continues to grow
Forget the mining boom, the South Australian government is now embracing the dining boom as the value of the state's food and wine sector reaches record levels.
South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill says revenue from the sector hit $18.2 billion in 2014/15 with exports of finished food and wine products also rising to $3.2 billion.
Mr Weatherill says the food industry will provide a significant proportion of new jobs in South Australia in the coming years.
