W Sydney wows VIPs at premiere party
W Sydney had its premiere party on March 18 on the Darling Harbour.
The five-star luxury hotel officially opened in October 23, but operators haven’t stopped to take a breath.
W Sydney General Manager Titus Rosier said: “We haven’t stopped since we opened our doors in October, so it’s been great to take a moment to celebrate this unique property and share a magical, unforgettable evening with our friends, partners and guests.”
“W Sydney’s Premiere Party brought together the music, nightlife, fashion, food and design that all sit at the heart of the W brand to create a night of magnetic energy, creativity and fun for our guests.”
In attendance was a who’s who of hospitality, including W Hotels Vice President & Global Brand Leader George Fleck, Destination NSW CEO Steve Cox and assorted VIP guests.
The brand has defined itself with a ‘Whatever, Whenever’ service and social Living Room space.
That held true on the night with guests treated to a blue carpet arrival and greeted by a giant W-shaped floral installation.
The five-level hotel premiere included cocktails, canapes, DJs, interactive desserts, edible wall art, Maybe Sammy cocktails and a 45-minute DJ set from Synthony.
The hotel has created a CBD entertainment precinct.
