Back-pat for The Fairfield Hotel

The Fairfield Hotel is up for five of the big prizes at the Australian Hotels Association's Hotel of the Year Awards for Excellence.

The hotel is a finalist in the following categories: Overall Hotel of the Year — City; Best New/Redeveloped Hotel — City; Best Gaming Venue; Best TAB Facilities; and Best Keno Venue.

This is the second consecutive year the hotel has been a finalist in the Best New/Redeveloped Hotel — City category.

The AHA Awards for Excellence are among the most prestigious awards in the hospitality industry.

The awards honour excellence in several areas including accommodation, dining, entertainment, marketing, social media, community service and talented employees.

This year marks the 140th anniversary of AHA NSW.

Winners of the awards will be announced during a gala function at The Star on Monday, November 25.
