Dozens injured at restaurant explosion in Japan
More than 40 people have been injured following a large explosion and fire at a restaurant in the Japanese city of Sapporo.
Witness are reported to have smelled gas after the sound of an explosion, which all but completely demolished the building.
A shelter was set up following the explosion for neighbours of the restaurant to stay overnight so they could escape the smoke.
Dozens of firefighters were called to battle the blasé, with casualties expected to rise.
