New dining destination for Western Sydney precinct

New dining destination for Western Sydney precinct

A new dining, leisure and entertainment destination set to become one of the largest integrated precincts in Western Sydney.

Spread across 8 hectares in the Rooty Hill precinct, the newly named West HQ precinct will be home to the Rooty Hill RSL, and notable brands including the Novotel Sydney West HQ (formerly Novotel Sydney Rooty Hill), Made By The Hill and Chur Burger Rooty Hill.

To accommodate this growth, a plan for a new 5-star luxury international Pullman hotel complete with a rooftop bar is underway, and will bring the total number of rooms at the precinct to over 300.

West HQ is also set to gain a $10 million dollar dining precinct, with five new premium restaurants set to begin construction in the next 12 months.

West HQ is also where the new $100 million dollar Western Sydney Performing Arts Centre is being constructed. Due for completion in late 2019, the 2000-seat proscenium arch theatre will have the capacity to host world-famous stage shows, musicals and concerts, as well as accommodate full ballet companies and symphony orchestras. The centre is expected to draw more than a million visitors over the next decade.

“With such iconic businesses already established, and all these exciting projects in the pipeline,” West HQ CEO Richard Errington said. “It became evident that the precinct had become more than just a collection of businesses, but rather an integrated entertainment and leisure destination, requiring a brand and identity of its own, and so West HQ was born.”
