Elements of Byron relaunch

Byron Bay’s newest resort Elements of Byron is set for a big relaunch in October.

The new look resort will have a dozen new and revamped leisure areas.

There will be a new adults-only, 25-metre heated pool with swim-up bar and also a new playground for the kids.

The 850,000-litre signature lagoon pool within the central leisure precinct will be heated.
Also, the plan is to expand the area with a new timber play space.

The resort will offer 99 new villas. These will be located within an entirely new section of the property surrounded by forest and creek.

Then there are the 111 square metre fully-serviced two-bedroom deluxe beach houses. They are being pitched as homes away from home for families and small groups seeking inspiration from nature. There will be lots of space to unwind with outdoor rooms with fireplaces and verandah  bathhouses.

Add to that the new Eco Education Centre.

The aim there is to create a hub for the local community and resort guests, giving them the opportunity to learn about sustainable living including food production. The Centre will be 100 per cent solar powered.

And it will include productive market gardens providing food for the resort’s restaurants.

The resort is in its second year and Development Director Jeremy Holmes says management has drawn heavily from customer feedback.

“We will have as much new product in October as when we first opened”  Holmes told hotelmanagement.com.au.

“Sixteen months of operation has given us invaluable guest feedback which we have used to refine and improve our resort experience.

“And we’ve managed to do this with a 3.8 per cent building footprint across the fifty acre site, which when you take into account the 13 acres of littoral rainforest and other protected areas translates to less than 10 per cent of the developable area. Nature is and will remain the star”.
